Free transfer from the airport to our villa
Villa Corotelo, built in 2003, is situated above the typical Algarve village of Bordeira with a beautiful panoramic view of the hills and the ocean to the south. This spacious villa is cozy and comfortably furnished with good beds and a large, fitted kitchen with bar area and a view into the living room. This villa is currently priced considerably lower than comparable villas because the exterior walls and pillars of the villa are due for a a new paint job, something that will happen in 2021.
Inside, the villa is perfectly in order in terms of comfort, interior, kitchen, garden, and swimming pool. The pictures shown were taken in November 2019.  On the first floor, there is a large master bedroom with bathroom and a large roof terrace with a sea view. On the ground floor are 2 more bedrooms, the largest of which has doors to the side terrace with seating areas and the stairs to the pool.
The comfortable living room is also spacious and very light with many doors out to the terrace. Air conditioners are fitted in all rooms. The owners have deliberately not installed Cable television or WiFi because they want to get away from the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and of course the sun and the pool. The house can be rented year-round. You can spend a wonderful time here in a prime location for a very realistic cost!

Villa Corotelo is a 20-minute drive from the airport and from the capital, Faro, in a rural, hilly area with many hiking opportunities. Beautiful view of hills and sea. The last 400 meters to the house is via a slightly rising dirt road.

House, garden and swimming pool deck are very private, in the close vicinity, there are only two neighboring villas. Bordeira is 1.5 km away, with its local restaurants and a mini supermarket. In under 10 minutes, you are in São Brás de Alportel, where you can do all your shopping. There is an excellent selection of restaurants here and throughout the area.

The monumental covered market of Loulé and the charming streets around it can be reached in under 20 minutes. The most beautiful long beaches and the fishing towns of Olhão, Fuseta and a little further Tavira are all about the same driving distance. From here you can take one of the ferries to the islands in the protected lagoon landscape of the Ria Formosa.

You can enter the driveway with its ample parking space via automatic entrance gates. The entrance hall gives access to the kitchen, staircase to the first floor and to the spacious living room. The living room has several doors opening to the surrounding terraces. 2 bedrooms (1 with a 150 cm wide bed) and 1 bathroom are on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is also a utility room with an additional guest toilet and washing machine. Stairs upstairs lead to the master bedroom and bathroom. The spacious south-facing roof terrace with sea view is accessible from the bedroom.

On the kitchen terrace is a large charcoal barbecue with a newly created patio space, stairs lead down from there to the swimming pool deck. A beautiful garden with local planting complements the side and front of the property.

Booking notes

Rates are quoted in Euros but payment can be made in any currency, we use a commercial foreign exchange service and will apply the rate of the day for conversions.
For all rentals, a deposit must be paid at the time of booking. This is 25% of the total booking value. Deposits are non-refundable* and held in escrow. The final balance is to be paid 10 weeks before arrival to secure the rentals dates booked.
All rental periods include 1 mid-week maid service with towel change. If you are staying two weeks then there is a main clean at the end of the first week. Daily or additional maid service is available by prior arrangement at additional cost please ask for details.
Where fitted, Pool heating is an optional extra and available at additional cost, normally €250 per week (minimum 1 week) and pro-rata for additional weeks or part weeks. Please note that the temperature of the water when heated is dependent on ambient temperature and weather conditions. Cold overnight temperatures and rain mean that the water may be cooler. If a pool cover is available then it is the users' responsibility to close it at night or when the pool is not in use.
Changeover days vary from property to property please email us for more information. It is necessary to vacate the villa by 10am. Access to the villa is after 4pm on the day of arrival. It may be possible to leave baggage at our office or at the property by prior arrangement.

* in situations where a national emergency is officially announced, borders are closed and travel is impossible there should be a route to restitution via an insurance claim. We will always review, arbitrate, transfer bookings and be supportive of any situation arising and without obligation or promise reserve the right to review any specific booking on its individual merits,

Booking Notes

The quoted weekly rates include maid service with a mid-week towel change. For stays of 13 nights or more, a long-stay clean and linen change is included. For stays of 9 to 12 nights for your comfort, there is a compulsory additional maid service with linen and towel change at a surcharge of €200.
The overall rental figure charged includes fair use of the air conditioning, preparation of the property and cleaning on departure. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Portugal Property Services offer a full support service and by arrangement, can provide most conceivable extras on request (charges will apply) such as mobility aids, catering, car hire, babysitting and airport transfers etc. Please help us by telling us what you need prior to your arrival.
Individual item hire as required: extra Z-Bed €50, Traditional Wooden Baby cot with foam mattress, linen and towels €55 per week, high chair €25. Extra Maid service on request from €15 per hr).

Cancellation refunds

Cancellation anytime from date of booking to 60 days before arrival date - loss of deposit.
Cancellation 59-30 days before arrival date - 50% forfeit of the total value of the booking.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival - 100% forfeit of the total value of the booking.
We advise all clients to take out independent holiday insurance cover or a specific cancellation insurance policy.
Please note that we do not accept groups of young/unrelated adults, animals or pets.
Only the guests who have registered to stay at the property may occupy the property.
No events, parties or gatherings can be held at any property without prior authorisation and written consent from Portugal Property Rentals, the owners of the property or their representative.
All properties are non-smoking.

Accidental Damage Deposit

A damage deposit of €1000 is payable at the time of sending the balance of the booking fee, this will be returned to you within 10 working days of the end of the rental period. Renters should advise us immediately of any damage or accident during their stay, regardless of value. We reserve the right to withhold return of the deposit if we have evidence of damage or breakage, negligence or vandalism.
This does not cover loss of house keys or call outs with spare keys which will be charged.
We want you to enjoy your holiday, in the unlikely event of any problem or issue with the property it is a requirement to inform us immediately so we can find a solution. Issues not disclosed until after the end of the rental period will be deemed to have been resolved.
